A St. Thomas youth is facing stunt driving and other charges after Aylmer Police say they observed the rider performing multiple wheelies on Talbot Street West.
Police say the incident happened on August 22, when officers observed an electric dirt bike-style motorcycle being operated on the roadway.
The motorcycle was stopped, and officers determined the electric vehicle was capable of reaching speeds of more than 80 kilometres per hour.
The driver was charged with stunt driving, driving a motor vehicle without a permit, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
The driver’s licence was suspended for 30 days, and the electric motorcycle was impounded for 14 days.
