Adoptions at the SALT Centre in St Thomas have resumed after being suspended for more than three months.
The cat rescue organization was forced to shutter after Provincial Animal Welfare Services inspected the facility on Talbot Street.
They said they found overcrowding and issued a bill for almost 200-thousand dollars for veterinary care and other costs.
SALT won’t be taking in more cats until the ones in its care have found homes.
