The Federal government will extend the 10 cent a litre gas tax holiday into 2027.
First announced in April, the holiday was set to end on Labour Day . . . but Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne announced the extension Wednesday.
The government intends to return the tax to half of its regular rate at the end of January before resuming it fully on April 1, 2027.
