A 56-year-old St. Thomas man faces multiple charges after driving along Talbot Street West in Aylmer at almost twice the speed limit.
Just after noon last Tuesday (Sept. 1), an Aylmer Police officer spotted a vehicle using the centre turn lane to pass other vehices.
He was clocked at 93 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.
It was determined his licence had been suspended due to an alcohol-related incident and he did not have valid insurance.
His vehicle was impounded and he faces the following charges:
- Stunt driving
- Driving while under suspension
- Operating a vehicle with no insurance
- Improper use of center lane
