St. Thomas Police are investigating after a school bus was damaged and copper wiring was stolen.
Police were contacted Tuesday, September 8th, after damage was discovered to a school bus parked in a Moore Street parking lot.
Several battery cables had been cut and the copper wiring removed, leaving the bus inoperable. The damage is estimated at approximately $2,000.
Police say the bus had been parked at the location throughout the summer school break.
The investigation remains ongoing.
