A 53 year old St. Thomas man is facing multiple charges of theft from stores and a construction site. Police pulled the suspect over on Monday (January 7) for driving without a licence. Police were already looking for the male for allegedly being seen on security video shoplifting from Walmart and the Real Canadian Superstore.
In addition the male was also seen returning items that were allegedly stolen from a construction site to a hardware store.
Richard Schleihauf is facing two counts of theft under $5,000, possession and trafficking stolen property, driving without a license and driving while suspended.
He will answer the charges at a February court date.
