An increase in industrial thefts and mischief in St. Thomas has brought about a warning to contractors, home builders and construction site workers.
The St. Thomas Police are seeing an increase in tool thefts from new housing builds in the south end of the City.
Police Chief Chris Herridge says that they encourage people to report any suspicious activity right away as sometimes people wait before they call them.
Herridge says suspicious activity is anything or anyone who doesnt look like they should be in the area.
Herridge says that they are also reminding contractors and home builders to secure their sites before they leave for the night. The Police have increased their patrols in the areas where these incidents are taking place.
