No slowing down for the St. Thomas Police Service.
The amount of calls coming into the detachment for service continues to be high a week into 2019.
365 calls have already come into Police and that is an increase of 73 calls from this time last year.
In a 24 hour period officers responded to 56 calls, which crushes the 2018 average of 52 calls in the same time period.
Police Chief, Chris Herridge is asking the public to be patient and give support to the officers while they answer the calls coming in.
