Talbot Street neighbours SubZero Ice Cream Shop and Century Sound are teaming up to help support a local family.
Our listeners may remember Natalie Ouellette, who at just 4 years old underwent life changing surgery to help her walk on her own.
Despite the completion of the Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) surgery this past July, Natalie continues to receive physiotherapy and will need to for the rest of her life.
Heather Payne Co-owner of SubZero says Natalie came into the store to help celebrate her 5th birthday this past Friday (March 12) and when they learned more about her story, they decided they wanted to do something extra to help her family out.
For the remainder of the week, SubZero will be donating all tips received to Natalie and her family, with Century Sound matching the total on the Sunday.
If you’re not able to support the cause financially, Payne says simply keeping her in your thoughts would mean so much.
To support the initiative, stop into SubZero Ice Cream Shop at 930 Talbot Street.
