“The Elephant Man,” based upon the life of Joseph Merrick, a man so physically deformed that he became known as the Elephant Man – runs Thursday, October 3rd through the 13th at the historic Princess Avenue Playhouse. Full details and tickets can be found on the Elgin Theatre Guild website.

The St. Thomas Public Library’s Crafters Circle will be taking place from 9 a.m. to noon today. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, work on your crafts and share each other’s company! They host the Crafter Circle every Wednesday.
Seniors’ Walk & Talk hosted by the library goes from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday. Take a leisurely walk on the path at the St. Thomas Elevated Park and chat along the way. If its rainy or icy, we will meet at the Joe Thornton Community Centre at 75 CASO Crossing.
Tech Talk returns to the library tomorrow and is offered every Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join the library team in the Board Room where you can get your questions answered and learn something new. All levels of tech experience welcome!
The library will also be hosting one of its Fall Film Nights from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Join in for a free screening of the film The Perfect Story from the National Film Board of Canada collection.
