Tuesday Tales goes today at the St. Thomas Public Library from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Join the library team for a terrific time of telling tales! And yes–there will be singing too!
The library is holding their Crafters Circle from 9 a.m. to noon tomorrow. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet new people, work on your crafts and share each other’s company! They host the Crafter Circle every Wednesday.

Seniors’ Walk & Talk returns to the St. Thomas Elevated Park today from 9 to 10 a.m. The St. Thomas Public Library hosts this event twice a month, inviting our local seniors to gather together for an hour of movement and conversation. *If it’s raining or icy, the group will meet at the Joe Thornton Community Centre at 75 Caso Crossing.

Euchre Club is back and goes every Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Anglican Church! Admission is by donation, with coffee and tea provided. Come out to enjoy the fun & meet new people.

Members of the St. Thomas Police Service will be Freezin’ For A Reason beginning at 4 p.m. today with the return of the annual Polar Plunge. It’s an exciting local fundraiser in support of Special Olympics Ontario, which sees participants take a dip in freezing cold water, collecting pledges in the process. The Polar Plunge will be set up in a new spot this year, thanks to a partnership with Railway City Brewing Company. More details here.
A Lego and Lagers event hosted by the St. Thomas Public Library is taking place from 6:30 to 8 tonight at Railway City Brewery. Are you an ALE (Adult Lego Enthusiast)? Join STPL at Railway City Brewery for a night of Lego and Lagers! They supply the Lego so you can build and tinker while you sip some delicious craft brews.
Trivia takes place every Wednesday night at Railway City Brewing from 7 to 9! Stop in for an evening of good food and fun with no need to preregister.

The Belmont Arena is hosting Public Skating on Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $2 for adults, $2 for children under 12 or $6 for a family. This repeats each Wednesday through March 31st.

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
It’s exam time for many of our local high schools so Thames Valley Regional Athletics are sitting idle this week.
The St. Thomas Stars will return to action Friday following a busy weekend. They’re set to host the Fort Erie Meteors in a special “myFM Fill the Rink” game at the Joe Thornton Community Centre. Puck drop set for 7:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to pick up free tickets for the game this Friday, February 2nd can stop by Briwood Farm Market or the radio station between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. until Thursday to do so.
