The World Premiere of Bigfoot! by Ephraim Ellis is now on stage at Port Stanley Festival Theatre through August 24th. Three intrepid explorers; Abby, Jake, and Leaf scour the interior rainforests of British Columbia searching for signs, for redemption and for proof. Bigfoot! Truth or legend? A free cancer screening pop-up clinic will again be offered in St. Thomas on Friday. The clinics are hosted by the Thames Valley Family Health Team to address the needs of those without a family physician or nurse practitioner. Full details can be found here.

The 176th Annual Aylmer Fair returns this weekend! Running August 9th to the 11th, with all the fan favourites including the midway, petting zoo, cattle show, 4H competition and of course the demolition derby. Full details can be found here!

Railway City Brewing Co. will once again have live music this weekend! The fun kicks off Friday with John Milles from 5 to 8 p.m. Michael Ryan (Riverside Unplugged) will take the stage on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Movies in the Park have returned! The Ice Box will be showing “Rumble!” Friday at the Pinafore Park Dance Pavilion beginning at sunset.

Whisky, Wine & Chocolate night returns to the Elgin County Railway Museum Friday! This 19+ event invites attendees to open their senses as experts guide them through rich sample combinations of wine and whisky, perfectly paired with some chocolate. Be Tweens is taking place at the St. Thomas Public Library tomorrow from 2 to 3 p.m. Be Tweens is a chance for tweens to meet other tweens in the community, explore what the library has to offer, and participate in a fun activity! This event is 8+ and taking place in the Carnegie Room, Lower Level.

The Horton Farmers’ Market is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon! You can stop by every Saturday through November 2nd to shop the fresh and local foods as well as endless creations from the talented artisans.
