Today: The Pitch Grande Finale returns to St. Thomas on Wednesday, with another $50,000 in cash and in-kind prizes up for grabs this year. Hosted annually by the Elgin Business Resource Centre, this ‘dragon’s den-style’ event will pit 5 finalists against each other as they make their “Pitch” for the grand prize. Tomorrow: Barrie Family Hospice of Elgin will be hosting a supportive walking group for adults navigating grief on Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This six-week program offers a compassionate space to share experiences, connect with others, and benefit from the healing effects of gentle movement.
